DIESEL FUEL

. Diesel is any motor fuel that can run on diesel engines. It is also powered by gas turbines. Diesel is a mixture of hydrocarbons emitted from oil. Approximately 75% of diesel is made up of alkane, while the remaining 25% is made up of aromatic hydrocarbons such as naphthalene. Diesel quality is characterized by cetane number.
