. Hydrolocator is a device that can find objects and their underwater sonar using acoustic waves determine their location. It is used for a variety of purposes - finding a herd of fish, finding underwater obstacles, searching for enemy submarines. Another Hydrolocator is called sonar. This name is derived from the acronym SOUND Navigation And Ranging (SONAR).
